Doussou Kourouma
Born in a family of griots in Faranah in Upper Guinea, Doussou moved with her family to Conakry at an early age. There she has danced in various ballets, including the world famous Ballet Djoliba. She is also engaged by Mamady Keita to give the dance classes at his yearly workshops in Conakry.
Fanta Kaba
Fanta Kaba was born in a small village near Kankan. She was invited in her youth to join various ballets and was eventually selected to be the number one solo dancer in the world famous "Les Ballets Africains" at the same time as Famoudou Konate played as the premier djembe solo player. Fanta travelled the world with this ballet and danced over 30 years on world stages. Norma and Sean stay with Fanta every year on their visits to Conakry.
Marie Bangoura
Marie Bangoura lives in Conakry and dances in the world renown "Les Ballets Africains", with whom she has travelled the world.
